- Join us May 11-13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. for Rodman's Youth & Young Adult Ministries 2009 Revival. The speaker is Rev. Robert Young, from New Hope Baptist Church in Braddock, PA. Come out and be blessed by awesome ministry through singing, mimes, drama, dance and powerful preaching. - The nationally acclaimed radio broadcast "Overcoming Through the Word" with host Rev. Carol Milligan, can now be seen on the Pittsburgh television station PCTV (Channel 21) on the following dates/times: Tuesday, 5/12 at 8:00 p.m., Friday 5/15 at 4:00 p.m., Monday, 5/18 at 7:00 p.m., and Thursday, 5/21 at 5:00 p.m.
- Dr. Audrey Murrell, Director of the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership at the University of Pittsburgh, is the guest speaker at the Urban Church Network of the Metro-Urban Institute event "A Celebration of Education: Ark of Excellence". The event occurs Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Contact Dr. Marla Johnson for more information at 412-362-5610, ext. 2227.
- The Annual Layman Ministry Award Banquet is Sunday, May 24th, 2009 at the Greensburg Holiday Inn. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. The donation is $35.00. See Deacon DeCarlo for more information. Rodman's Layman of the Year is Bro. Lloyd Nesby, Jr.
- The Kid's Care Ministry Bake Sale happens in the RSMBC parking lot after both services on Sunday, May 24th, 2009. Donations are welcome! Please come out and support our youth.
- Kid's Care Fashion Show Rehearsals will resume on Saturday, June 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Models/Parents, please see Sis. Shirlyn Gilliard or Myrna Clarke before then for important information
- The staff of the Rodman Herald is preparing a church newsletter to be distributed the 1st Sunday of each month. It will be a tool to keep the congregation abreast of upcoming events & news within the RSMBC family. Ministries are requested to submit upcoming ministry news for publication no later than the third Sunday of each month. All information should be submitted to the RodmanHerald@aol.com or you can contact Denice Dennison-Coker or Karen Brooks.
- Just a friendly reminder... Baby Dedications are held 2nd and 4th Sunday's. You must call the church office to schedule an appointment (412-363-8082).
- Prayer Concerns? Our Prayer Request Box is available to you. It is located in the vestibule under the bulletin board. Please fill free to place your requests in the box so that the Intercessory Prayer Ministry can lift them up to the Lord on your behalf. - The Youth & Young Adult Ministry invites youth 20 and under to participate in The New Era Karar Dance Ministry. The ministry meets Thursdays in the Lower Auditorium from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
- Rodman's After School Program (R.A.S.P.) needs adults and high school students (16 years or older)to volunteer their help in the following areas: homework, arts & crafts, aerobics, serving snacks, leading devotions, etc. If you are available between the hours of 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., please contact Mona Morphis at 412-363-8082 ext.36 or mmorphis@rodmanstreetchurch.org

- If you are looking for quality childcare, the Rodman Day Care Center is the place to be. We are taking applications for 2008/2009 school year for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. If you are interested, please call 412-363-8082.
- The Rodman After School Program (R.A.S.P.) caters to children from kindergarten through sixth grade for tutoring, homework assistance and much more. Snacks and transportation are provided. The program is open Monday - Friday from 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Enrollments for the program are being accepted now. Childcare subsidies are accepted.
